Professor Guo Yinglu, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and a leading urology researcher nationally paid a visit to Beijing Yuho Rehabilitation Hospital late on May 3. The Academician highly praised the environment, the advanced facilities and the strength of the hospital, stated he confidently holds an optimistic view of an even better future for the hospital.

　　Accompanied by Pan Hong, the General Manager of Tahoe Healthcare Group, Academician Guo toured the out-patient department, the TCM pharmacy, the expert consultation department and the extracorporeal shockwave therapy department in addition to other featured facilities such as speleotherapy room, music therapy room and hydrotherapy pools. The Academician sang the praises of the hospital saying, “It’s rather challenging work but you’ve done an excellent job in achieving such a rapid development!” when he was informed of the quick growth of the hospital in the recent three years.

　　During the visit, Professor Guo stressed that medical talents are called outstanding not only because of their superb medical skills but also their noble moral standard. A doctor should fulfill his duty by making a healthier and better life for the public. “Given such superior conditions, Yuho should expand its presence overseas with a solid base in China.” He expects to join hands with Tahoe and bring domestic urology surgery up to the international level.

　　Meanwhile, he pointed out medical institutions should take the lead in pursuing the public welfare cause. He hopes to walk the walk together with Yuho to promote the public welfare, calling more attention to it by exposing the public to numerous public welfare cases that they have undertaken, while continuously contributing to the fields of education, healthcare, scientific research and public welfare.

Prospects of Collaboration on Micro Energy Medicine

　　The healing of interstitial cystitis has always been an “international pain point”, yet Professor Guo is committed to addressing the pain point through micro energy medicine. Saying that “micro energy is the lighthouse for organ repair”, he expects to continue the collaboration on micro energy and establish the discipline of micro energy organ function recovery and care at Yuho in order to create new opportunities for treating nephrosis, cardiopathy, pancreatopathy and other health killers.

　　In the future, Tahoe will build a national multi-disciplinary medical service network, a move that will step up the collaboration on micro energy between both parties and facilitate the development of healthcare sector in China for public good.
